Reflecting on the honor, Long said: 鈥淭eaching is about more than technique鈥攊t鈥檚 about helping students find truth in music. I am deeply grateful to Steinway and to 可乐视频 for supporting this journey.鈥

In the fall, 66 teachers from across the United States and Canada were honored for their exceptional work in acoustic piano education. Recognized for both their teaching excellence and their long-standing dedication to their communities, each inductee joined the Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner Program (STEP) after being nominated by their local Steinway & Sons showroom. Their names now grace a commemorative wall inside Steinway鈥檚 legendary factory, a lasting tribute to their impact and leadership in music education.
