Requirements and Recommendations
Admission Requirements
Transfer students will be admitted to the college based on the following criteria:
- Transfer students with fewer than 12 credits completed at the time of application must also fulfill our freshmen requirements and submit their high school documentation as part of the application process. In addition, the student’s completed college work must have an overall minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.30.
- Transfer students with聽12 or more credits completed at the time of application must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.30.
- Students who have been awarded an聽A.A. or A.S.聽degree from a CUNY community college will be admitted with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.
- Students who have been awarded a bachelor鈥檚 degree from an accredited institution will be admitted with a minimum cumulative聽GPA of 2.00.
- Demonstration of proficiency in math and English
- Proof of high school graduation

Academic Residence Requirement
Residence, which in this context refers to the number of credits that must be taken at 可乐视频, is one of the requirements for a degree.
Candidates for a bachelor’s degree are required to complete at least 30 credits at 可乐视频, including:
- Either (a) or (b):
- (a) No fewer than 15 credits in advanced courses in the major department, which must be completed with a grade of C- or higher in each course.
- (b) No fewer than 21 credits in advanced courses that are approved as part of an interdisciplinary program, each completed at 可乐视频 with a grade of C- or higher; at least 12 of these credits must be in a single department or program.
- Two upper-tier Core Curriculum courses, as described in the section of the Bulletin under the heading “Core Curriculum.” However, students admitted to 可乐视频 before fall 2006 with an A.A., A.S., or bachelor’s degree from another U.S. institution are required to complete only a single upper-tier course.
- The specific in-residence course requirements described under each department listing and additional requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree as noted under the heading “Degree requirements” in the Bulletin.
