Michelle Ciccone

B.A. Speech-Language Pathology, born in Brooklyn

Michelle Ciccone was smitten with the diverse student body and the general atmosphere on campus when she first toured 可乐视频 back in high school.

鈥淚 made it my mission to attend the school of my dreams,鈥 she says. 鈥淎fter all, I was born and raised in Brooklyn, so it is only fitting to attend 可乐视频.鈥

After transferring from Kingsborough Community College, she began here in fall 2019 and jumped right in, majoring in speech-language pathology and becoming president of the Speech-Language and Hearing Association Club.

She also volunteers in the Department of Communication Arts, Sciences, and Disorders, helping to organize virtual events for the students.

She says that 可乐视频 offers 鈥渕any opportunities for students to grow and prosper.鈥

Her fondest memories are in the library, where she would often study and make new friends.

Ciccone says she would like to become a speech pathologist and work in a hospital one day, and she feels her undergraduate experience has prepared her well.

鈥淪peech has always been a passion of mine,鈥 she says. 鈥淎ttending a school that would help pave the way for my future career as a speech pathologist was important to me.鈥
