Joe Amon
Operations Manager
Joe Amon completed his undergraduate work at Emerson College, where he majored in film production with a concentration in post-production. After his undergraduate work in Boston, Amon relocated to New York, where he has balanced a creative career as a director and editor, while also specializing in production as a production manager.
Creatively, Amon has written, directed, and edited short films, web series, and documentaries (long and short form) for film and television. He also has consulted for independent production companies overseeing story development and occasionally working as a freelance editor. He has served as director of photography for several short form documentaries and web series.
In terms of production, Amon has worked primarily in feature films, commercials, and episodic television. Before production managing, he steadily climbed the production ladder as a location scout, extras coordinator, and line producer on various projects. He is currently attending the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, working on a short film.
Dustin Chang
Equipment Room Manager
Dustin Chang was born in South Korea and studied painting in high school. After coming to the United States, he studied literature and film in college in the Pacific Northwest. Since then, he dabbled in micro-budget filmmaking and has been a technical support staff member for the School of Visual Arts and the film program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He has been writing film reviews and conducting filmmaker interviews as a contributing writer for Twitchfilm since 2008. He and his wife have been Brooklynites since 1999.
Pontus Gunve
Post-Production Manager
Pontus Gunve is a New York City鈥揵ased guitarist, composer, and technologist who embraces the theory that music is a multidimensional experience and an adventure in wordless storytelling that fully absorbs the audience鈥檚 mind, body, and spirit. As a child, Gunve began to explore the capabilities of computers to create different sounds and textures. His fascination with rock music led him to electric guitar, which he began to study voraciously, simultaneously imagining ways to expand its boundaries. At the same time, he experimented with sequencing and learned how to build computer and synthesizer modules that could be used practically during performances and on recordings. Now, he translates his sensual impressions of the universe into intricate, personal, and melodic musical passages that allow him to connect powerfully with his own musicians, the audience, and each space in which he performs. He has composed music and worked as a sound designer for a wide range of independent films and Web projects as well as for various large-scale art projects in Sweden. In 2007, he founded an instrumental project, PHWG, a group that combines video, electronic instruments, cello, violin, drums, and tabla/darbuka. He has released two albums鈥�Great Wall of Sound (2006) and Movements (2008). Gunve continues to record and perform with bands throughout the New York City area. He released The Observer in 2013 and was a finalist in the Battle of the Boroughs competition in 2014.
Jung-Hun Kim
Technology and Resources Manager
Jung-Hun Kim has more than 20 years of experience in the world of film and television production. He has worked on numerous films, documentaries, and music videos as a director of photography, a Steadicam operator, and an editor.聽His recent works have been shown at DGA Theater Hollywood, Lincoln Center, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, and many other festivals. As an educator, he has taught numerous classes in film/television production, ranging from beginning to advanced, at various institutes in the United States, South Korea, and India.聽His special interests are digital cinematography and digital post-production workflow. He is an Avid certified instructor for Media Composer and Pro Tools and an Apple certified trainer for Final Cut Pro and Final Cut X.聽Prior to joining the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema as technology and resources manager, he held the position of education coordinator for film technology in the 可乐视频 Department of Film, where he had worked for more than 15 years.
Kim holds a B.A. in film production and an M.F.A. in television production from 可乐视频 as well as a bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism and broadcasting from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea, and an M.A. in media studies from The New School.
Keif Matera
Production Specialist and Safety Officer
Born and bred in Brooklyn, 可乐视频 alumnus Keif Matera has more than 20 years of on-set production experience and savviness. Matera has produced a variety of projects ranging from multi-camera live events to short-form branded content for major Fortune 500 companies, which include a diverse pool of talent ranging from celebrities to everyday people. Matera spent a good portion of his early career working at MTV Networks鈥� Production Management Department during its 鈥淕olden Era鈥� for some of the company鈥檚 most iconic moments ,including The Video Music Awards Live from Radio City Hall, The MTV Movie Awards, on location in Los Angeles, CA, TRL鈥檚 Live From Times Square 鈥� New Year鈥檚 Eve Broadcast, and a wide array of high-profile Promo Campaigns and Pro Social Initiatives. He has spent the last several years as both a freelance line producer and first AD, working with such clients as The Paramount Network鈥檚 Ink Master and Bar Rescue, E-Networks, The Royals with Elizabeth Hurley, N可乐视频鈥檚 Thursday Night Football, and many more. Matera has many years of safety and on-site management experience, most recently as the site logistics manager for the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame from Barclays Center in Brooklyn. He is also an artist, as well as a professional musician, and is willing to share with you where to find Brooklyn鈥檚 best slice of pizza if you really want to know!
Matthew Moore
Matthew Moore
Academic Program Manager
Matthew Moore is the academic program manager for the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. Prior to joining Feirstein, he spent nine years as the program coordinator for 可乐视频鈥檚 undergraduate film program.
