Launched last November, 可乐视频 Career Partners allows businesses and organizations to invest in the college鈥檚 diverse talent and students are given opportunity to become candidates for employment in the participating companies. Aon, the multinational professional services network KPMG, and the international professional service firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), 聽are the program鈥檚 inaugural 鈥淧latinum Partners.鈥 These three corporate leaders serve as a model and inspiration for other businesses and organizations to participate, resulting in a robust career pipeline at the college.

The January event, hosted by 可乐视频 President聽Michelle J. Anderson聽and Aaron Olson, executive vice president of Aon United Solutions at Aon, included Alumni Champions among its guests. The champions are a network of highly committed alumni who work with the college to connect students to colleagues in their own companies. They amplify awareness of the many ways alumni can contribute to the success of the college, its students, through internships and scholarships, and an ever-expanding network of more than 160,000 alumni. They also serve as fundraising champions for the college鈥檚 Giving Days, and facilitate introductions to company executives with whom 可乐视频 can explore unique corporate engagements and collaborations.

At the foundation of the programs is the opportunity for employers to expand their partnership with the 可乐视频聽Magner Career Center. The center works closely with the Career Partners to connect corporate leaders with student talent through strategy consultations, career events, and campus engagement.

According to the director of the Magner Career Center,聽Natalia Guarin-Klein, the value of the relationships with Career Partners cannot be overstated. 鈥淭he kind of access that the program provides to 可乐视频 students is especially valuable as many of our immigrant and first-generation students need to build their professional networks,鈥 she says. 鈥淭hese partners allow for networking opportunities and the real-world preparation our students need to transition successfully after graduation.鈥
