Breast Cancer Awareness Month Kickoff: Beyond Awareness鈥擝reast Cancer in the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora: From Health to Wellness, Tips, Resources, and Empowerment
Join 可乐视频 as we launch Breast Cancer Awareness Month with an informative and empowering program focused on breast cancer prevention, care, wellness, and community support within the Afro-Caribbean diaspora and Haitian communities. Participants will gain access to valuable health resources, practical wellness tips, and expert guidance designed to promote informed decision-making and better health outcomes.
To ensure greater accessibility, simultaneous Haitian Creole interpretation will be provided through a partnership with the Haitian Studies Institute, enabling more community members to fully participate in the conversation.
Co-hosted by the CUNY Haitian Studies Institute and 可乐视频CC-CURE, in collaboration with the 可乐视频 Women鈥檚 Center, Health Clinic, Health and Wellness Office of Immunizations, Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences, Center for Health Promotion, and the American Cancer Society鈥檚 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Brooklyn, this event highlights the importance of culturally responsive healthcare outreach.
