Under the direction of conductor George Rothman, the Conservatory Orchestra presents several concerts each semester鈥攔ichly varied programs of repertory from the Baroque to New Music, including concertos featuring the winner of the conservatory鈥檚 annual concerto competition. The orchestra also participates in the conservatory鈥檚 Composer-in-Residence program, through which selected student composers create new works presented in public readings and workshop performances.
